Wolves are fairly strong creatures inhabiting much of Varsilia. They often separate themselves from other members of their species, stalking the forests alone. However, should a situation arise in which the player is attacked my multiple wolves, they can easily overwhelm the ill-prepared. Wolves can drop their pelts as loot, be it a Damaged Wolf Pelt, or a Perfect Wolf Pelt on a rare occasion, both of which have no purposes aside from selling them for an OK price. The Varannari are known to hunt them for their hides, and will purchase pelts from the player for a higher price than other NPC's, making wolves a viable source of income.

Dire Wolf The Dire wolf is both higher level than the original wolf and larger in size. Grey Wolf The smallest and weakest of the wolves, they are found in Varsilia, particularly around Lannegar Valley, and tend to roam alone. They pose little danger to most players, but can be fairly powerful against newcomers.
