XP not calculating correctly?

Hi,

I've just finished the lady of the night mission, by kiling the night lord. I dimissed my companion before starting the fight and have a +18% xp modifier but the xp received is lower than i expected.

I got 1074xp from klilng the guy then 10620xp from the mission completion but i thought it would be 10,000xp + 18% = 11,800. Even if i add the xp from killing the guy it is still lower than i would expect.

The game is up to date.

If you have a companion, you only gain 80% xp. The 18% boost would put you at 9800 expected xp...which is still wrong, but at least you got more than you expected. Killing the night lord shouldn't change anything since it's just a boss. Could you have had an xp scroll on or a shrine boost?

If you didn't have a companion I'm as stumped as you are.


edit: nvm, I can't read, you said you didn't have a companion. Sorry.

THe base XP for this quest is 9000, not 10000 (the Wiki entry was wrong). So everything works fine.
