I've been travelling with Hirge a lot. For a Warrior or Rouge player there isn't a better companion imo. I used xp boosting scrolls and wisdom items on her and noticed she's now one level higher than my other companions. As though only the base xp has been passed onto the other companions and Higre kept all the boost xp to herself. Is that supposed to be so or is it a bug?

Companions get XP from two ways:
1) XP earned while in your party (the obvious way).
2) A XP add when they join your party, if they have 50% of less of your XP.
XP scrolls, INT, Wisdom Attribute impact the first. As levels go up, and you switch between Companions, it's quite easily reached where one Companion has enough extra XP to be a level or two above the other Companions.
