XP bonus by blessing and scrolls: only main PC?

Hi, I hope to write in the right session of the forum about this topic since I am not sure if it is a bug or something desired.

I have seen that scrolls and the Trees blessing from the altars (where you may pay 100 or 500 gold) is not applied to any follower but only to the main character.

Since followers get an XP bonus each time they are included in the team, I was wondering if it makes sense to invest in XP boosts to them such as spending scores in intelligence or providing Wisdom rings and spending scrolls.

What do you think about? Is it a bug or just as the game works?

Just the way the game works. Thier XP is dependent on your XP.

AH ok then.

But still, do you spend money in scrolls or items to buff their ability to gain XP or not?

I did some test and they do learn faster in that way, but probably they "loose" that increment if you dismiss one follower to get another one later on.
