Why Mature 17+

I was updating my review for EK and noticed its rated Mature 17+
Just wondering is this from unreleased content or are the restrictions for ratings set by non-development people??? I cant figure out why it rated Mature. Im not sure but wouldnt the game attract more players if it were rated Teen? Although if changes to the content had to be made, let it stand...
Just wondering on the rating is all.

I filled a questionnaire and the rating came up. Rating system is absurd, as answering "yes" to violence against animals and other inane things automatically puts me in the same category as a Saw movie.

No gore but fantasy is so so dangerous...
I just hope that the rating doesnt hurt expansion because this is the best game
