Who should i give the heart from "The Lady Of The Night" quest?

Im level 17 warrior and i dont know honestly who shall i give the heart, to captain or to statue?

Give it to the captain you will fight a lvl 16 creature and get more experience and a weapon from it

For a warrior it's better to kill that witch. For cleric or mage better get the amulet.
