The leaderboard is a waste of time.
As I can't see how the number one and two got to number one and two.
Because their SATs don't add up ?
It's taken me forever to get to where I am .And because am so high it's going to take forever to move up next lvls because bad guys kill points are so little now.
I just can't see how am not the only one who can see it .

David said that L20 is "soft" cap for the moment, intentionally. You need too much XP points to advance.

Yeah, some people cheat the leaderboards. I will make it harder to cheat and reset the boards on version 1.0 so scores are uploaded again, but keep in mind, cheating is always easy on an offline game. You have the game files right there, and the game has to decrypt them to open them, so any decently skilled programmer with an evening to spare will be able to do it. If I devise an anti-cheating system for 10 days, it will be broken by someone in 3-4 hours, tops, and then there would be 10 days less worth of content in the game. So, once the game is complete, sure, I'll spend a few days making it harder to cheat, but right now focusing on that would be a mistake, I think.

Currently leaderboard is fun, mostly for checking with people in your google circles, which likely won't cheat. for instance, my kids check their score against their friends and other family. It's the default option as you open the board (even google knows most leaderboards top scores will invariable be a cheatfest)

Of course it will be very different when there's cooperative online options. Data is on the server then, not on the device. Then I'll gladly take up the challenge of making it cheat-proof. :)
