What difficulty do you play EK on?

I'm genuinely curious. It has slightly surprised me just how many threads I see start with "I play on casual mode and...". Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Anyway I'll start. My original file is on normal difficulty. Since I've become comfortable with the game and how it plays, all my subsequent files are on hard mode.

I briefly considered trying iron man, but the final boss dissuaded me of that idea.

I have played on all difficulties, where hardmode was my go to mode for quite a while. I haven't ever really had the patience necessary for ironman, and ended up dying around level 12 ( a couple times before I got tired of trying to make that work).

Since returning to the game since the birth of my daughter more recently I have just wanted more freedom with my play throughs and have primarily been playing on casual mode.

I play on Hard mode, but personally I want to play in Ironman 'coz I like challenges in games but my phone is hindering me from playing most of time it auto exit and sometimes my navigational controls go haywire and can't control anymore so I need to exit EK just to refresh. Also I want to try different quest results so I stay in hard mode because of save slots to try the variations of each.

Finished game in casual, normal and hard. Now I am attempting ironman mode. There is nothing worse than dying to a spike trap.
