I didn't!

EK is not especially original, can be even considered derivative of other previous games. I add my personal touch, but most of what you see in EK comes from my love for good old RPGs. First of all, tabletop RPGs like D&D, Rolemaster or WFRP. But also my favorite classic computer RPGs like the Wizardry series, the Might&Magic series, the old D&D Gold Box games, the first three Elder Scrolls titles, and many many others like Darklands, Arcanum, Albion, Fallout 1, classic Everquest, etc.
