Well, I think I just ruined my game!

Had a nice chat with Butterfingers in the New Garand sewer, got trapped in with his brutal shapeshifter friend, and hit the quick-save button (not really thinking about it). Saved over my only save slot, and I can't beat this *&^$ing lycanthropic ne'er-do-well.

Guess I get to start over. :-/

Just load from your last autosave (automatically generated when resting at an inn), which cannot be overwritten.

Edit: Except you played up to this point without ever needing to rest. Which would be heroic. And a heroic death, too...

Just like Mike said. In case you don't know how, tap Continue Game, then the yellow folder button next to your character.

You haven't really played the game till you quick save in a place that results in unavoidable death...

Nearly did this to myself; hit quicksave by accident when I was actually trying to activate a health potion in my quick slot while being pounded to death by the random Orc war party. Died the split second after I hit quicksave, then the game continued and BOOM nearly instant death again, over and over. I had a lot of progress in the game since the autosave that I didn't want to do over, so I was bummed, then it occurred to me to VERY quickly activate Evasion and use a Recalll scroll to get out of there... took a few tries to make it work, but it did! *whew*

well try killing him (I guess) there's a silver dagger in the ded body it might help you kill it...

If the autosave is non-existent or too old; load te save while tapping on te player avatar repeatedly even before the save properly loads. It'll pause in the inventory and allow you to use a potion.
