(A small text wall incoming, so bear with me)
There's something that's been on my mind for some time now and I'd like to know what other people think of it.
So, basically, for anyone who doesn't know, in order for you to be initiated into Warrior's Guild, you have to go and kill some Minotaur raiders.
Sounds easy enough, right? For a player, maybe.
So what I'm wondering is this: What is the standard amount of fighting effectiveness one has to possess in order to be accepeted into the guild, anyway?
For some reason, I think that 80-90% of Warrior's Guild members would die trying to undertake the same quest that players do. Fighting three minotaurs at once is no joke, when you think of it(I know you can bait them one by one, but that realistically wouldn't happen).
Besides the fact that there may have not been any other jobs at the time, why does the protagonist get the short end of the stick? Why does Sergeant Daukar send us on what would be a suicide mission for most people, fighters or not? Couldn't she wait a couple of days for a contract to clear out 10 Giant Rats out of a cellar or something?
And yes, I know our protagonist participates in the fort assault, but that was a team effort, so nothing extraordinary on the player's part.
So, what do you think of this? Is the standard in Warrior's Guild just so high or is Sergeant Daukar simply not right in the head?
