Evening all,

I've got a slight issue, of maybe my own making.

I went to join the warriors guild pretty late, lvl 11 and did the quest finding and killing the minatours.

However I cannot join the warriors guild as numpty here already joined what I now know is the rouge guild.

1. Is there anyway to get out of it?
2. did I miss an obvious prompt warning me it was undone, I remember reading the text to you want to join but I don't remember it saying you can only be in one
3. In pretty much all games I can think of, it wouldn't let you join a guild you are not the right class for, so is this a bug? FYI I'm a warrior not rouge.

Cheers

Unfortunately, you are stuck. Not sure the exact in-game language(shoild possibly be made clearer, or given a final 'are you sure' check) but once you take an oath, you are in that guild for life...

Possible future content might include ways to get out of your oath (anti-faction quests would be cool), but as of the content now, its a buyer beware, no refund policy.

Kardagis: Only if you take the magical Loyalty Oath. Be aware once you take it, it will stay forever. You won't be able to join any other guild. If you prefer to simply remain our friend, that's fine. Don't take the oath, and come here to train or deal. Maybe I can even offer some jobs in the future.

You: Very well. (Take the Oath and become a member of the Seventh House)

Well I am a numpty then!

Does the lack of warrior guild hamstring me at all? Equipment access etc?

Not drastically. Only the access to a couple skills.

Maybe you have a save in which you had not chosen the guild yet? check by clicking on Continue Game>Yellow folder

Losing out on Heavyhand and Duel (advanced guild only skills) is rough for a warrior considering most warrior play styles. Also, the Belt offered in the shop if a strength boost plus arm and health, though rogue shop offers agility with same bumps, so it can be worked around.

I'd reload a previous save anyway if possible, as future content could see you even more hamstrung.

Thanks, I had missed the extensive list. I'm working my way through the wiki now :)
