(Wannabe) Arcane Knight needs Help with the Dragon in the Forsaken Castle

Can someone help me out with the Dragon in the Forsaken Castle?
I want to become an Arcane Knight but don't know what Skills I should use.
Can someone help me out?
I got the robe etc. because I was sneaky.

Feed the Dragon with Gris(recommended) while you hit it,use some circle of restoration in case your companion dies. Level up 1-3 levels because that dragon have some heavy ice and physical damage. Grind a little for potions, you are so broke earn money for potion maybe a 10-20 medium healing pots will help u, do a little running when your companion dies(when you see your companions health is in half go back to her/his body). honestly, your lvl is too low, it's not like it's impossible, but with lvl 12 it's not worth it.

instead of gris I recommend to use Hirge with intervention, also lot of mana potions. also a good advice is to use ice elemental scroll as meatshield, makes it easier to fight that dragon.

but to be honest, it's not worth for you to kill that enemy now, you have no gold to buy new skills and also your lvl is just too low to use new build effective

You can do it but not with that build or companion or gear most likely.

I used grissenda with fury maxed and 2 handed skills with cruelty.

My level 10 mage had wand III, lighting II, fireball I, mana surge II. Wand and surge may have been III each. Don't exactly remember. But didn't have any advanced skills yet.

Many potions of speed, invisibility and greater potions of healings. Saved up and searched for the shady merchant to buy those at discounts. Then bought some scrolls of of restoration. Picked up some scrolls of recall and detection along the way.

I had the white priest robes too I believe and what ever other cold reducing equipment I could get. Then also stole the rod of incineration.

Tactics involved a lot of luck. But also lots of running and invisibility. Sprinted past everything to get to the fortress. Killed the guardian ice demon then ran away and recalled leaving the ice Giants behind.

Returned back same way running past everything. Then invisibility and running to get to room with secret door and used scroll of detection to find door quickly. More sneaking to get to the long hallway before Hidalix.

That was the "easy" part. Then I had to clear that hall way out to be able to lure Hidalix alone into that hall way. Lured a few ice demons out into the hall way that were easier to kill. Then went invisible to sneak past the rest and git Hidalix attention as the dragon is a detector and ran like heck back up and down the hall way hoping I had enough scrolls and potions to stay alive. Then recalled back to town once done.
