I totally agree about that. Also it's a shame to waste the benefits from flanking if you specialize him as an archer. It is really hard to choose a class that properly stack with an adaon -archer built. Maybe the cleric or the mage.

Well, the only reason to use Adaon is for traps as he lacks advanced skills to outdps Hirge (who doesn't need any adv. skills). That's why I use him as an archer, it boosts his survivability and he can stun.

If you run any "dead zones", take cleric companion. She has bonuses against undead. Plus the heals are church

A bit of a necro post to bring up a thread from three years ago... perhaps starting a new thread would have been more useful?

Try the Arc, Sewer of Horrors, or other late game areas.
