trolls regenerate indefinitely

Ever since I got the key from the friendly troll, I haven't been able to kill a single troll in the fenns or in the dungeon. I knocked one down 20 times to be sure. Is this a feature of the odd couple quest, or a bug? Either way its frustrating.

P.S. I love the game! Thank you and keep up the phenomenal work!

For killing, you need to use fire.

But, if they regenerate indefinitely, that could be bug (didn't run trollfens for some time).

Silly me. I didn't realize it was fire that put them down. Problem solved!
