In trollfens dungeon, in the first cave to the left from entrance I've encountered this troll shaman, after every kill he'd regenerate. I gave up after killing him 13 times (screenshot) and carried on, then i killed him/her 2 more times upon exiting dungeon and left (he/she still kept on regenerating). Some trolls regenerate 5-6 times or more, not sure if that's a bug, but it's quite annoying. Also, Grissenda keeps on attacking trolls while they regenerate, sometimes wasting special skills on them (like whirlwind) - maybe it'd be better if companion treated regenerating troll as dead, and attacked them after they finish regenerating?

What weapon were you using?

I was using Despair hammer, Grissenda was using Primal Icicle.

There's you're problem. You need a weapon with the right elemental damage. The wiki can sort this out for you. Look up trolls.

I'm surprised you ever kill any trolls using those weapons. It requires a specific elemental damage to actually put a Troll down for good.

Trolls are susceptible to one type of elemental damage more so than any other. There is a table on the wiki page for trolls that can show you.

Ok, now it makes sense. Arbenos might deals fire damage, i guess trolls regenerated when Grissenda dealt last hit or when i didn't have enough mana to use AM.
