Town Hall quests for incomplete areas. This is a thing?

Howdy! New player. (A) Love the game so far, even if I can't be a proper mage. (B) I've gotten two town hall quests for orc bounties that ended up being in Ilmara. I truck West, generally north, slaying and fleeing through the veritable hinterlands, and lo and behold - after some wiki research - it seems there is no access to Ilmara yet.

Will I have to pay more attention to quest descriptions to make sure I can get to the final locations? Both those quests, if I remember correctly, took some pub drinking to determine their locations.

Or am I completely off base and Ilmara is a simple boat-ride or hike to the northwest?

Rhoneis is in Ilmara. So actually easier to find since only area open.

Are you sure you gossiped enough to learn the exact location of your target? Note that you can learn information about your target until your journal stops stating that you can learn more by gossiping in taverns. That's when you know you've learnt the exact location.

Only have this map, available from Ilmara. Rhöneis Plains
To go to the Rhoneis plains, u have 3 options, east of jabal hills, north of deadwood, and west of nothern blurmist river.

There are only two places that they can be. In the southwest reaching some hills, and to the Northeast, right by the river.

I would bet they are classified as wildlands

Rhoneis is in Ilmara. So actually easier to find since only area open.

Rhöneis belongs to Ilamara and currently it is only one Ilmarian town to the south of Lake Nivar. All other accessible (open) belongs to Mercia or Varsilia.

But really, classification of some areas as Wildlands is strange, because there is many wildland areas (Crimson hills, Dead wood, Wyvern mountains and some other) and they are very distant from each other.
