Tower of Tremadan Bug (resolved / not a bug)

Hi. So, is there a way to unbug tower of tremadan? I have the quest note that I found the location, yet it does not let me open it. I do have the key in my inventory.
I might have had the key in the vault at some point.

Edit: nvm. I was an idiot. The option was there but since it had (Leave) next to it, I was ignoring it

I didn't find one, so I decided to at least put in the "solution"
