If I kill Undermother and save the Flame Prophet, will that cause a problem with the story? - Undermother promises to reveal some important information for my future - I also want to know if killing both Undermother and Flame Prophet has the potential to cause a problem in the history of the game.

Nope .... with a catch.

Two of the ending options require you to learn something. You can learn it from the Undermother by doing her bidding, or you can learn it through passing a few trait checks. You can review the Wiki (link above) to learn more. Deliberately vague to avoid spoilers.

It's quite possible to get all the endings by doing any combination of killing or saving the Undermother, or Flame Prophet.

Some of the more hard core players will kill the Flame Prophet as she has a very nice drop. Than they'll kill the Unweakened mother just to do it. Taken her on full strength is not advised for new players, and not at a low level. She's pretty tough at full strength.

So it's really up to you.

Kill both of them especially the scheming undermother
