The most difficult RPG you ever played?

A favorite of mine, and one of the more challenging ones was Darklands, Daggerfall (TES2) was also pretty intense, especially the last dungeon.

I know that is not rpg but: Lost Patrol on Atari. Never end this game with cousin but wy try many many times.

One of the hardest especially if you're new to the game took me less than 3 weeks and a half just to finish the game when I was just starting to play it
