Since there isn't much on the wiki about it... questions!

First, do you have to be a Mage, or can a Cleric become one?

Second, do you join the Wizard's Guild first, or is this another faction that you would join instead of the Wizard's Guild?

So curious!!!

I think it's just for mages. It lets mages use a few weapons they wouldn't normally be able to use. It's a few skills, not a proper guild.

First, thank you! Second, ah. So an enhancement to members of the Mage Guild. OK. I was kind of hoping that it might be a separate guild entirely that cross-pollinated, as it were, with the mage guild. A sister guild, if you were? Or at least that was what the notice sounded like to me. Referring to them as the Arcane Knights and the like. It will be curious to see when I go though with a mage next time.

No, skills are available for all mages that have access to Icemist and done arcane knight quest

Liked elemental damage much more then wands. New skills are imba effective on bosses.
Mmake them slow and vunerable and kill with massive elemental damage
