I just released (for Beta Testers) update 1.1.1087

New update featuring more world detail, targeted mostly at levels 12-20. It should fill some gaps in progression to minimize the need to grind before endgame, as well as tying some loose ends related to lore and previous quests/characters. This includes about half of the content that is planned for release 1.2, the rest is still in progress and I hope to have it ready in about 3-4 weeks, but I think it's better to test this ASAP and have it released.

-German, Italian translations complete (except new content). Other translations expanded.
-New areas added in northwest Ilmara. New quests added, one of them will trigger if Hirge is your companion and you are level 13+; quests related to the other companions are currently being developed.
-The Freetown Arena now offers you battles in exchange of gold and experience! (It opens up only after certain quest is completed)
-Teleport scrolls now allow you to travel to Tremadan's Tower.
-Traders added inside the Grey Library, they allow to buy certain useful items at lower prices and sell loot at higher prices. Only available if you're not an enemy of their faction.
-Wearing helms/hoods now shows on your character!

For now it's available only on Android (or should in a couple hours), if all goes well I'll release it for PC Beta testers tomorrow and after that, make it a public release in a few days.

Steam version now has the Beta as well.

I might release this to the public this evening, unless someone finds a real nasty bug.

David, the last update fixed the problem with adaon quest, but the cost to revert followers skills at the warrior gild is very high and not 1 per reset. Is this intentional? I can't experiment with them dye to the high cost in gold!

I second this. I want to see how they use their advanced skills. Reseting the companions costs a lot.

Then just get more money...
It's expensive because you used it too often. My opinion is, there is no need to reduce the costs for this beta update, the skills aren't new and there is no need to test them. So you have to pay the full price. That would be also a bit unfair to normal players and since David will release it today you should have the same chance as them

Not really a kind answer.
FYI, I used it a lot as a beta tester, now I don't want to grind for money when it should not be needed.

I didn't think about it, tbh. If there's a bug and I have to update, I might at least reset the counter, but can't set it to 1 gold on a version that is candidate for release, and this testing phase has been real short.

That would be nice, also because the counter does not consider each follower individually but adds them all together, causing the final price to be very high.

I didn't want to be mean. Just my opinion. 1G for reset is OK if there are new skills which need to be tested. Otherwise it's a bit unfair to other players, they have always to pay the full price.

Ps: I had no problem with that update, I use only one companion/character, so after changing he was "blanc" and I skilled him after finishing the quests. With lvl 20+ characters you don't really need one, so it doesn't matter if he dies or not.

Feedback:

With the new advanced skills for companions, you should also adjust the trait and skill points they get per lvl up. It's really hard to use the advanced skills at the moment. The companions need more trait and skill points

The update is rolling out, locking thread.

Maybe I should have increased their skills/traits a bit. Can do retroactively on next update (we're still not in 1.2, there will be another update this summer)
