Technical problem maybe?

I don't know if it is problem by game or mine... Now the main thing.. The quest ,,Where is Giles" doesn't work for me I think because I found his girlfriend and I went to a cave in northern sagar forest how it says ...(the cave with wyvern and goblins in front of it) ..So ..I found only one body (skull) next to a case/box .. and from there it does nothing.. so am I in wrong cave, do something different or is it technical problem ?? Thx for answer

Sounds like you are looking in Gorx Lair(lots of fire) and not Merdxan Cave (icy). Explore North Sagar area.
