Guys, give me sugestions for leveling a Cleric (Lv. 6 already).

I was training to be a Paladin (as someone sugested on fóruns), but i really dont like de gameplay of level 3 Intervation...

Now i got: Heal Wounds (I), Arbenos Might (I), Nirvarias Barrier (I), Intervention (III), Extra recovery (I) with 2 skills points to spare.
Stats are: END 2, AGI 2, PER 2, INT 1, with 5 points do spare.

I was thinking about getting STR 4, HeavyHands 3, HealWounds 2 and Holy Shield 4... Or go all for Personality stats, ArbenosMight 3, NirvanaBarrier 2, HealWounds 2 and some sacred fire (this last i dont know, trying to be all fisical dam). What do you guys say?

Thanks,

Boost Agi and Per to 3

Heavy Hand can wait if you're wanting to tank.

Go respec at the trainer and pick 3 skills

I suggest heal, sacred fire, and extra recovery for your level

Max those.

What weapon are you using?

Get Agi and Per and End to 4, then buy STR you'll need 1 in Int and Awa also later.

Thanks,
I already have extra recovery at level 1. Should I upgrade it to level 2? Get maximum of those three skills?

Where can i buy STR stat?

Thanks for helping a noob.

I think lv 2 additional recovery isn't necessary for clerics.

I got lv 3 heal wounds when I almost finished the game at lv 12, realizing I can heal griss using this skill and making her both tank and damage dealer the same time with fury. It kindda released me from the heavy armor and shield, so I was able to go 2h weapons - the troll king maul, which turned out to hit much harder than daggers.

I have never used holy shield btw, and I don't need it anymore, griss does all the dirty work. Might is a must, crusader has limited use and stun will clear aggro, therefore sucks. Sacred fire isn't bad if you have unlimited mana, saves a lot of work.

I took my oath to the temple, because I can purchase mana potion from the merchant there. With 50 mana potions in pack, all dungeons seem too easy for clerics.

I would suggest both heavy hand and duel are great skills for clerics, especially for dagger clerics, as oppose to the funny useless skills taught by the temple. Also you can buy the +1 str +2 armor belt from the warrior's guild.

Can you not join more than one Guild? I thought you could mix up the skills from reading around.

You can, but you also have to choose a guild to get access to even more class related skills.

The Rogue and Warrior Guilds currently offer 4 skills. 2 of those skills can be learned by anyone who has helped the guild (Fort Assault/Smugglers in the Night). The other 2 can only be learned by becoming a full-fledged member (only 1 guild may be joined per playthru, no take backs).

With the Clerics guild only offering 2 adv skills (member only), many players choose to fill the final two spots with the openly offered skills of the other two guilds.

Just remember, you can always reset/unlearn adv skills but joining a guild is FINAL.
