Some questions about the game

Hi all,

I am really happy to join this community, since I thin that Exiled Kingdom is awesome and a fantastic mobile game, with great graphic, sound and a game design that is perfect for a mobile device, since I can play it during my breaks to cool down and that is enough. Yet, I have some questions and I hope you may help me to make the point.

1 - I am a bit a power player, or better a perfectionist, and I really HATE when I am forced to chose among options such as having a party of 2 when I can have 3 or more different companions to be found during the game. So, any advice about building the best dream team?
Now that I am playing with a cleric, I was thinking about taking the lady fighter (ring quest), when I will start over with the fighter, I will take the rogue who robbed me at the beginning of the game.

2 - hencmen I cannot tell which one is better and if they do level up. I am talking about random characters that you pay to fight for you. Are they melee fighters only or is it possible to find even other characters?

3 - level-up the game system promotes an even spread of skills: more you invest in a specific one, higher is the costs in points to be able to increase a stat. Is there a level CAP, a skill top level or any other info that I should know about?

4 - weapons single & shield? 2-handed? Bows? Maybe shield is better at low levels and then 2-handed. Bow with the rogue, if I use other melee fighters with me.

5 - random quests at the Vault It somehow reminds me of Daggerfall, they are nice but I hate running through random maps to get clues eventually to discover that the location was just behind the corner. Is there any off-line guide or resource?

6 - after finding the mysterious key I feel a bit lost in the game because the game looks not linear. It is not really clear what I have to do.

I have already seen some post about levelling up your character and hints for beginners, so I don't ask you all to repeat the same concepts. I would appreciate just a straight-to-the-point answer to each question from you all.

Many thanks!

2. Presently all mercenaries are melee. The way I understand it there are 2 types: warriors with armor, and rogues who are unarmored. But I don't know if there is any advantage either way.

They do seem to level up... But I wouldn't rely on them very much.

3. Level cap is 25
attribute cap is 10
skill cap varies by skill.

4. All weapon combos can be effective... Different people prefer different weapon combos.

5. You can discover more details about townhall quests (and later rumors) by gossiping at the tavern.

6. Your journal should give you some important tips for how to progress.

Many thanks for the answers.

About mercenaries, I think I have met a special one in Kingsbridge town (I think) : a bold one looking like a monk, but my party was full since I was performing the quest to rescue a guy from the orcs. Never saw the monk-ish guy any more.

And yes: to me the warrior-like figures look a bit more resilient and effective than the rogue-like characters.
