Before I venture into this, can anyone give come clarity about this place? How long will I stay there? What level should I be before venturing in? How many potions should I have on hand, and what are the best ones? Thanks!

Well... it's supposed to be a step up in difficulty from the Arc so take it on AFTER completing the arc (Level 18 to Level 20 at a minimal?).

Toxic resist, fire resist and spirit potions might be useful. Take your top tier health potions. Maybe even a few epic omelettes. Take as many as you can afford or fit into your bag of holding.

It's a long, battle but you can do it. I think.

The most important thing is... Save in one of the manual save slots before you descend, as autosaves can be overwritten and you could be trapped.
