Secret door chance resetting.

Hello, just curious how often does chance reset if you're facing the secret door. For instance, if I stand next to it how many seconds before it throws the dice to determine my luck? 3, 5, 10? Also I try to walk back and forth about 10 meters to see if it will reset it faster, does distance affect the reset chance?

Per a previous post by the Developer:

The passive secret check is done every 3 seconds, and has a range of 5 meters.

Moving has no bearing on chance.


The two things that impact passive secret chance are
1) Your detection skill (detail button on profile), which is based on your attributes (INT, AWA) and any equipment with the detection ability.
2) The level difference between you and the secret door. If you're higher level, and you get a bonus, if you're lower level, you get a malus.
