rumor mill monsters

I'm having trouble finding shard-containing monsters via the rumor mill, even with my cleric profiles with high personality levels. I think increasing the frequency of monster sightings, or giving shards to the green dragons, regular manticores and skeletal warlords would help reduce the grind. I'm already sleeping 48 hours at a time just to refill the gossip leads and still rarely find anything.

The timer to spawn them is based on real play time, so do a dungeon run or two and bosses will spawn in the meantime. Staying at the inn won't help.

Thanks for clarifying that David.

There was always a feeling it may be that way, when you get so many empty messages at the inn.
When you try to activly hunt rumours bosses , trying to wear "gossip gear" , or sleep and travel around, it seems confusing sometimes, that nothing helps.
