Room Access in Lorekeepers library of New Garand

I completed the quest Forgotten Lore and it seems like NPC Anton Gerdt says I should have access to the traders and rooms of the Loreseekers Library but the bars are still in the way and I can't access the rooms.

Is that normal?

Ok, not sure what happened but I think I might have had to leave New Garand and come back for the rooms to unlock.

I don't know if this is working as intended or if it's still a bug though?

It is not a grate which is operated by a switch so it is not opening automatically after the quest. The gates inside need to be refreshed in order to open, just save outside then reload that will solve it or maybe you are saying that you want David to program the NPC as the concept of the grate's switch?

It is an oversight, just like other grates/doors usually open as a result of quests unlocking areas, this one only happens after a respawn. Noted!

I'm still locked out even though i completed all the forgotten lore quest. Gone out, saved, reloaded and still locked out. Could it be because i left Aadon to rot in his cell?
