Hello guys. I failed using roque in Ironman (5x+) and maybe I could get some help/advice from Ironman Veteran adventurers out there.

Evasion is your most important skill. Max it out asap if you plan on doing solo actions. Otherwise get Grisenda, and use flanking skill and attacks.

Traps can be brutal. If you're planning as a ranged rouge, the lower HP of the rouge means less room for error in the unexpected trap. For archers, Awareness and Agility help deal damage AND give bonuses to detect/negate traps. Detecting traps is crucial as there's always a chance a disarm attempt will fail and cause damage. Equipment with trap detection or trap disarm helps too (tinkering etc).

On Ironman, regardless of class type, error on the side of being over powered. When going through areas of known traps, go slow to give the trap detection a few attempts each step. Go in straight lines (in and out on same route) to minimize steps that could have a trap. Use Recall scrolls to exit (thus sparing any re-tracing). Scrolls of Detection or other items to reveal traps can also be useful. Keep HP high in trap areas.

Thanks for the advice peeps. I didn't gave up until now and now I can feel this will be a "hopefully successful Ironman Rogue. Im taking the route of an assasine rogue since I failed a couple of times using archer. And luckily I got some usefull stuffs at early levels from vigilant knight and traveleng merchs. And now its time to venture to new garand. :D

Using maxed evasion, and sprinting/disarming traps also works. As long as player has enough HP to survive eventual fail, this skill grants immunity to everything for a limited time :)

A bit of both. Note the light weapon, off-hand weapon, Agility set to 4 and the glow around the character indicating the presence of active buffs. See the player's skill for Stab and Assassinate. Also note the elemental damage at play.

The Wiki skill list might be helpful for review:
