Restoring The Faith Quest??

Okay so, I have the Restoring the Faith quest. I go into the desert and get to the stairscase, go in, take the door to the west, go to the statue to investigate it (on the north wall) and.... Nothing. Adaon is my companion WITH a 2 in the skill (i believe it's awareness?) and my own character itself has a 3 in strength, and a 2 in everything but personality, which has a 1. Why the heck can't i find the switch to trigger the trap off??? Is it a bug??

Are you triggering the trap first? The switch dialogue will only appear once the poison has been released.

Yeah, I just got this email notification about your response, but I did end up figuring that out.. Aha. Sorry for the trouble, was just really aggravating me.

I'm glad it wasn't a bug but rather just an aggravating misunderstanding of what needed to occur and when.
