Regarding Reputation and townhall quest

I checked (by save&load) the reputation does not diminish when failing to complete townhall quest.

However, when i visited townhall the reputation did diminish!

So there's a discrepancy between two

Which one count?

Kinda depressing since i worked so hard to get reputation and now i find out my efforts were in vain

I´d say the latter counts, when you visit the town hall. After all reputation is what people think about you, so f you don´t tell anyone you failed, your reputation stays.

Think you can always build it up by succeding in the quests, so the failures can be compensated. Good hunting =)

is it normal that reputation stops going up after a certain amount of town hall quests? mine hasn't gone up since a reputation of 60
