Red dragon scale drop rate

I'm getting one scale per 2-3 Cauldron run. Is it a normal drop rate, or bug, or Im doing something wrong? 15 clearing of Cauldron is not fun...

Same for me. Took forever and a day to collect the scales.

can confirm same problem. drop rate is extremely low.

one out of five runs just to get one scale, and at that a lengthy 5-10 minutes to kill all the Drake's....

Good thing it isn't the boss dragon that respawns alot.

Had 1 dry run but managed to gather 5 in five runs... got two even on a run if I recall.

Its probably a drop rate under 10% and w the limited # of drakes to slaughter per run, I could see it taking 5-8 runs typically.

Chalk it up to RNG. I've done the scales quest 4 times and the fastest was 3 runs for 5. I got 7 in 4 runs once. The worst was i think 10 runs to get 5. ymmv

It was increased after 923, was very low previously.

After 6 runs with 2 scales I suddenly got 3 scales in the last run :shock:

Can I ask about legion set drop chance from this man with legion deserters around (forgot the name)? Is it lower than red dragon scale or on the same level?
