Ranger Class or More ranged weapons

So I was thinking a ranger class would be great, I know the rogues and warriors can use bows. But a class that benefits solely from archery would be cool. Throwing knives, bows, crossbows or even Molotov cocktails or explosive jars (that would sweeeeet, splash elemental damage!) .


Or more magical or rare bows, I don't believe I have seen any thus far.

I asked awhile back for more and better bows. I'm glad someone else agrees.

I added a couple minor bows, but more will come. I have to decide if I make arrows instead to add extra damage. Making numbers about it. Everything you guys mention here is carefully taken into account, believe me ;)

Adding my request in for more bows, particularly those doing elemental damage (start with fire, cos troll's bro !)

Also some hirelings that use bows, use the rogue class, get them to call themselves hunters...... Because if your playing a tank, having ranged support is dead useful !

I'm down with arrows if they aren't the kind that runs out, that would put me off bows and probably be expensive.

Fire bow - Hellfire
Ice Bow - Frost Bite
Death bow - Bow of Woe (B.o.W)
Poison bow - Assassins Bow
Light - Calling of The Three

Or just increase the passive ability. What about adding +2 dmg/level instead of 1? I started a new run on hard difficulty with my rogue and it took me 10-20 shots to kill a level 6 wolf in that cage while I was level 4. Also it would be cool if stab worked on bows :eek: (at least bow wouldn't be so bad anymore)

It would be pretty epic if the trap skill had a dot/aoe component. As a ranged rogue id like to slow down all the enemies coming at me not just the first one. That gives the tank a fair chance tk grab the aggro. Frankly i dont care if you take the damage part out of the trap and make it aoe for utility. Also droping it a few inches ahead of the rogue would be better.

Also, would love to see an aoe rain of arrows type of skill. Even if it had a steep cooldown it would be pretty neat.
