If you have a strong protagonist then it is great build as he isn't "too powerful" like Hirge or Griss can be, he gives assistance, and at a distance, without being part of a two-person strong team. What is powerful is the stun capacity of the skills. So he is away and helping nibble away with damage then something you're fighting locks up. That's nice. But he isn't a dominant "focus of attention", you are.
Fighting a boss creature that is immune to stun (Void Lord, or example) well, that's not ideal...
