Random Generators Issue - Update 0.0.980

I've noticed that after last update, the random generators for both the Rumors and the Loot seems to be troubling for refreshing.

When I go check rumors, and I hear about some boss, which ever it is, for exemple Krom the Lich, if I try to gossip after that, I get the exact same result. it doesn't add information, it isn't completion about it's location.
If I hear that Krom is located in Great Inori, the next gossip I hear, is the exact same text, telling me that Krom is located in Great Inori.

When I sleep between gossiping, or simply get out of the tavern and get back in, the result changes but it repeats the new result for the time I am there, as if it fails to generate another number.


With the loot for Rumor boss, I noticed similarity, even though I have reloaded the game to try to get a different loot, I also received the exact same loot, even the gold quantity was the same, and the loots for random enemies at the place as well. This felt weirder and I imagine it's more of a coincidence, since I loaded if from a different location (I saved in the location North from Great Inori and the lich was inside the tomb of Great Inori)_ and it wasn't even the easier loot to get from it.

I didn't know exactly how efficient it would be to screen this, so I didn't, but it happened in different towns (Nivarian, New Garand, New Anthur, Lannegar...).

Different loot doesn't work because of abuse and thats a huge bug that is fixed.

If a rumor doesnt add more info you simply have to do it with the info.... great inori is always near tomb entrances but sometimes a search in the map is fun to....

Its a rumor afterall.

I'm not saying that I want added information, I'm saying it repeats the exact message I received. I gave one example, but it also happened with the maximum detailed message of the rumor boss- it's not about the content of the message, please note this.

I'm not after bigger chances of receiving gossip details, that's not the issue. I can happily go searching for the rumor boss not knowing the exact spot it is (even though I'm already familiar with the spawn locations of many areas haha)

I've had it repeated with the announcement of the boss (I received 3 times in a row the gossip of the same rumor boss, then I slept and the next day I received another gossip result repeatedly for the time I was logged in the tavern). When I was in Nivarian, I received repeatedly the gossip about the trupe in New Anthur, when I was in Freetown was the Lich, in Lannegar it repeated specific infos of location for a Troll Marauder.

Imagine a dice, you roll it once and it shows "4". Then you roll it again, and again and again and the result is still 4. Then, you put it back in the box, and after five minutes, you roll it again, and the result now is "6", but for all the consecutive rolls, you keep getting a 6, and the only way of changing the results is to put it back in it's box between rolls. That's what it seems to be happening in my game.

The loot for a rumor boss is generated when the rumor boss is spawned. And will always reward the same loot regardless of how much you save and reload.

This is a change from when they were first implemented in order to keep players from abusing save and reload features. This feature was developed on purpose.

I can't comment on the gossip "bug". I haven't seen anything like it .

I wasn't aware of the change with the Rumor boss loot, thanks ;)

This is the smallest 'issue', though - the loot is more of a matter of convenience rather than something actually troublesome, but the rumor is something that bothered me, since you game-time gossiping and it can make you lose the rumor boss, depending on the time wasted in repeat (at least, I never do more than 4 gossips in a row when I find some rumor boss, so I can check how much time do I have to search for it).

When you say the gossip always tells you the same result, you mean you reload, try to gossip again, reload, try to gossip, reload... etc?

If that's the case, it works as intended. Saving & Reloading is not supposed to give any advantage on the game.

Nope, without reload. I click on the tavern buttom and gossip until it says I've talked with everyone, until that, it gives the exact same result, either being some actual information or "nothing interesting". As I'm used to not finding much gossip, until I've seen it happening with some actual information, I didn't give much atention to the repeatedly "nothing interesting".
If I reload, it may show a different gossip and until I leave the tavern, it will be running the same gossip over and over.

edit: and if I don't get out of the tavern, I goes a whole lot of time until I get the message of "I've talked with everyone available"
