Questions about Stiletto (mostly)

I've returned after year(s) of absence and restarted with assasin rogue (I had lvl18 2-handed warrior before) Got rogue to lvl 12 and thinking about getting Stiletto.
Some questions:
Is it worth the hassle? I have bluesteel poison dagger and Icicle. Does Stiletto offer noticeable advantage?
What are recommended stats? HP, death resist, how many health potions?
On unrelated note - at which lvl can I reasonably expect to kill Nastur?

Do you have stiletto..... its a rogue weapon only.... and obtaineble in imperial castle ( orc path ).

Its a fast weapon with death added to the weapon..... well since most enemies use death against you it having a healing effect on them..... so yes its nice, its quick, but there better weapons to use.

Try devourers sting its hard to get but has a incredible paralyse effect and if you give your companion permafrost you double paralypse equipped.... :lol:

Its not too hard to obtain. Just run evasion, ~100 death resist, a couple (probably less than 3) big healing potions, an Extra recovery, and a teleport scroll.

Some other players also use speed potions, and death resist potions.

When attacking creatures that don't have any death resist it is a very good weapon. It is noticeable so long as you are fighting creatures that aren't resistant to death.The problem with it is that a lot of creatures have death resist/immunity/heal. I like having it in my arsenal... But, I usually opt for a different weapon.

If it was the same weapon with +3 spirit or lightning instead of +5 death I would probably use it 90% of the time.

I think I killed Nastur around level 13... But I could be mis-remembering.
