Question about trait points from Tolossian Tomes and resetting traits

If I Use a Ancient Tollosian Book It will Boost my Trait by 1 right? But what will happen if I do the Reset thing in the Thieves Guild what will Happen? Will my boost stat disappear like for example my stats is 18 and I use book it will be 19 right? But If I reset will it be 18 again? Or not. Thanks Because I'm planning to reset

Once you have a trait point that point will remain with you for the rest of the game. You don't have to worry about losing it when you respec your character with the guilds.
