Question about passive skills

So I don't know if this has been answered before, and I didn't know how to search for this particular question. The passive skills such as dungeonerring and gossip, do the skills stack between both your playable character and your companion?

No the better of the two is used... Passives only apply to one person and do not stack between characters.

Gossip and dungeoneering can be taught to your companions and as AA said they only affect the person learning the skill.

If you have 10% chance on gossip/detection and Gris has 20%, her chance will be shown and be the basis of your chances.

gossip: highest in party is used.

detection: all party members roll every 3 seconds with their own %
