Quest Bugged (The Price of Freedom)

Things went normally up until I ran back to town to avoid dying.
Got chased by the varanni all the way.
The guards didn't attack them.
I ran and hit the inn to rest and fight them again but when I arrived back at fast-foot he wouldn't activate his chat dialogue and the captain still needs me to do the quest. The quest journals description for the quest is empty

tiki, I didn't receive it.

I think I will fix this one in next update, so if you both just wait until the next one (a week or so) it will be fixed for you.

Dave I just had the same issue... since I am testing not a big deal...

Steps to replicate

Accept quest from Pratorean. Go to natives. Raise fist and attempt to kill them. Run away to inn with tail between legs... natives no longer aggro and can't complete quest. But still have penalty to relationship.

Hi Dave,
I think I found another bug in this quest. I spoke to the Varannari and managed to let them leave without any fight.
The Praetor was disappointed and said "I'll give you gold" but I got the XP only.
I reloaded the game and tried again and my money where the same before and after the final discussion with the Praetor.

EDIT: I checked the wiki and it only reports XP and reputation in the awards, so this is definitely the way it goes. The Loreseekers should update it when the bug is fixed.
