I selected a profile picture rather randomly in the beginning of the game, as they were too limited and lack of variety for a rpg. Can we change it somehow during the game? If it is not possible I guess we should be able to change it at least for one time. Moreover, we should have more pictures.

Over time I guess David may allow changing name and picture (maybe even ability to import pictures yourself).
Anyway, as you can guess, it will happen only after game is completed, as there are much more important things to do first.
Also, I must say, this is just my guessing, not official statement from David.

I would also love a bigger variety of profile pictures! it adds value to the role playing! A way to upload your own would be awesome as well. Hope it is an easy fix and not too time consuming.

I can live with my picture but that name... that... name... is a disaster! Also if we can upload our own pictures then get ready to see some real random shit and pictures of dicks....

At least till multiplayer gets ability to exchange pictures. But even then David can limit this. Maybe by allowing people to not to see other people's pictures?
