Problem with the Quest system

Helle,
this is my first posting ;-)

I am at the end of level 6 now, have Adaon as companion.

Right now, i just dont know what quests i should continue with.

It seems, i cannot clear the Minitaur dungeon and not the Orc dungeon or Orc fort.
Also, i cannot clear the undead dungeon.

I tried to finish Forgotten Lore, but just cannot find the body of Zaniel, which should be in the Death Wood from what i read here. I realy search all of that area and checked every skeletton - to no avail.

I then tried to talk to the fat man in the sewers, but nothing happend - he just let me talk to the woman to buy thins.

I have the feeling, that i need to find the in-game-hints at first to be able to get those things. I could understand this in the case of the fat man, but it is not logical to not be able to find the corpse of Zaniel without any hint!

Is the Quest system like this?!?

What shall i do?

Not really clear as to what you mean by the quest system. There are different quests suitable for different levels. If there is a specific quest you have trouble with, you can check out the wiki for help.

Regarding the specific quests you mentioned:
the dead loreseeker is there in the woods. If I remember correctly, pretty close to the eastern entrance - search the skeletons lying around inside, I think one of them will be him. It may appear as just a skull - not sure, it's been a while, but check the wiki just in case.

As for the fat man, he doesn't give you a quest but is related to one. Try travelling around kingsbridge with adaon, you never know what surprises await... though at level 6 I'm not sure you're ready for the battle that awaits later on.


In general there are a whole bunch of quests suitable for your level, but you were unspecific as to what you completed and what not. Some of the mage guild quests are doable at that level. Rhoenis quests, kingsbridge quests, south sagar forest quest, and most shrine quests (maybe new garand would be a tad difficult, but certainly possible). That's off the top of my head, there's probably a few more (and I assume you've done all lannegar)
