Price for fixing followers

Hi, several times in the game I was thinking to "fix" my followers at any guild, since their stats and abilities may be better distributed along the game.

Yet, I have seen that at the guilds they rise the price the second time even if I bring a DIFFERENT follower.
For instance, 5.000 G the first time for Grisenda and then 7.000 G (I think, or so) if I want to fix Adaon even if that would be his very first time.

Also, I really do not understand yet if intelligence, awareness and personality do have a real impact on followers, except for mana levels.

Going more specific, it looks to me that followers ...
- get benefits from intelligence to XP but, since they only get a fraction, the contribute is really small and XP are somehow resetted if followers are dismissed and re-added to the party
- detect traps independently than the main character, which may be useful if the main one really has a low perception value
- detect secrets and gossip in taverns by their own, NOT stacking with the main character but using the highest value.

If this is true, I personally would like:
- any kind of blessing (from scrolls or altars) to be applied to the follower too
- gossip value to stack while in taverns rather than using the highest value, or it really makes no sense to have followers with good scores in gossip and related abilities
- the guilds to apply the fee to "fix" stats separately, for every single follower

If you go to your companions page in the inventory menu and use a scroll (such as xp scroll) it does applies to them. You have to use one for each person in your party (you and your companion) separately.

Yes, but you cannot do that with the blessing from the altar of the Trees and I wonder how useful really is, because using items as rings of wisdom or scrolls, that are quite expensive, on a character that already receives a fraction of total XP makes really a small effect.
Also I am not sure that the XP bonus is preserved when you dismiss and get back a follower.

Xp bonuses from scrolls or alters are only temporary. Xp bonuses from INT trait is permanent. Xp bonuses from equipment lasts only as long as you wear it. As for the cost of scrolls, I would recommend farming the outlaws outside of Freetown, Zahmor mountains, and castle bluerock. They regularly drop 7% xp scrolls and, somewhat less often, scrolls of recall. Never have to pay for an xp bonus again. Also not a bad way of making some quick cash. Almost like getting paid to get xp, instead of being the one who pays.

Thanks for your answer but it is obvious that you do not get what I am asking, maybe because you don't understand my English or because you rush while reading what I write.
