Performance issues with Moto G4

I just got a new Moto G4 play comma moving on from my old Moto X 2013. I having serious performance issues, resulting in a very low FPS.

Is there anything I can do? Is this a known issue?

it should work fine, have you tried a device restart?

if you have restored a backup instead of installing from Play Store, I recommend a clean install also.

After restarting the phone, creating a new game, abs then loading my old save game, the issue went away.

Have no idea what she problem.
