Orgash Skin-peeler?

I ran into a weird level 13 minotaur in the Steel Coast. Named Orgash Skin-peeler.

It was in the steel coast, just south of the new anthur bay. The north east crossing to the new anthur bay zone (not the road crossing).

He's not in the wiki. And minotaurs shouldn't be in that zone that I know of. And I've never heard of any critter with such a name.

What was he, why was he there?

He dropped a poisonous bow

First, can't we all live in a world where a raging minotaur warlord can roam the lands without having to explain himself????

Second, he's a Rumor Boss. See the list at the bottom of Random Encounters here.

In-game, you can find out information about if, and where, a Rumor Boss is located via the Gossip function at an Inn. Be mindful that it's possible to have a Rumor Boss spawn and you NOT learn about it.

As unexpected bump-ins to a Rumor Boss goes, running into a Minotaur Warlord isn't too bad. Wait till you get surprized by a lich.

The real pain is running into Troll rumor bosses when you don't have a fire weapon with you (because you had no intention of being anywhere near the Trollfens).

Perhaps we should suggest a Werewolf rumor boss for this exact reason?

Ohhhhhh rumor boss. Riiiiiight. I never, intentionally, dealt with them before.

I thought they all carried parts of the eye of Tol. Clearly not.

Also, he was named. From the wiki I would have thought it would just be 'mimotair warlord'.

Rumor Bosses DO carry Black Shards, but they're subject to the rules of Random Drop. So, not every Rumor Boss you kill will drop one.

It might be worth adding a line or two to the Wiki explaining that Rumor Bosses will have names.

The name helps keep track of them, as you can have more than one appear at a time. It also adds more to the immersion of the game.

During game development, there was a lengthy period of time in which Rumor Bosses dropped the best equipment in the game and were the only way to get enough Black Shards. As the game expanded with more equipment and more fixed Black Shard sources, Rumor Bosses have become, essentially, an optional aspect of the game.

Still worth killing for some nifty drops, but not vital to the game, anymore.
