Im in Shock...i cant belive what just happend....

After i "finished" the new amazing content with my Cleric Irongirl , I was ready to explore the alternative path with my most beloved lvl 23 Agi Ironwarrior in the Death God quest...

packed with armour , resistent in all elements , proudly carrying the ankh of life in the inventory...Only some intelligence missing...

Just getting that crown again, but since its the "honorable character" lets bring it back to its origin...
Expecting my reward..."it" literally drains the lifing out of my toon :shock: (and some part of me seeing that empty slot that carried 100h+)

Even after reading some related threads to this, what was the objective here?
After picking at first , that "it" should know the answer i only had 1 option that i seek help from the curse ... did my 0 intelligence trait literally killed me ?

Thats some pretty brutal stuff David , but i guess he did not lie , the curse is no longer a problem :mrgreen: :roll:

I wonder if any ironman players would fall into that painful trap. There is a way to survive a meeting with Tol (and I'm not talking abotu the bug that has(?) gotten fixed).
It might be worthwhile to track how many people face permadeath for missing something along the way.

Your eyes get a bit wider when the character suddenly drops to the floor, after klicking away the text about life and death...
Usally its not something to worry about in the first moment, since it might just be part of the "normal storyline"

When you see the message flash by - that your ankh of life tries to reveive you, its time to get nervous , and before you know it, you are on the titlescreen...planing your next break

If you only got deadly dialogue options at the quest ending, chances are you "jumped" into it without having gained the in-game knowledge about Tol's location; the place where you gain such lore also opens up the required dialogue options to survive a meeting with the God of Death... the game only tells you about the statue location at the same time it tells you of Tol's motives.

I feel for your loss, at least he died spectacularly, not to swamp scavengers at level 11 like my highest ironman.

Lol epic reaction.......and therefore you have to backup your bak file from your phone.... then nothing can happen..... hilarious this whahaha....

If you readed the forum well... i said multiple time take option 1 then option 3 and then 10x clicking on the text to survive him.... al you need is crown and 0 knoweledge.... just do this and your done......

Since he was a proudly naive warrior that literally ran a 0 int built, I took the Information that i discovered with my Cleric beforehand and used it for the alternative path with her.

Since it triggered the possible Entrance after getting the crown anyway i felt pretty smart :mrgreen:

How can you ever expect to end up in a room where you only have death dialoges with no teleporting out, no fight for surival , or the ankh of live as plan B.

On the bright side - Happy to see new Toon Avatars to pick from

Well i must say it costed me 6 reloads with my character to find out which 1 to pick in the questions... but that perma dead is really a nasty thing haha..
