No more roaming bosses

I was focused on killing the new roaming bosses and managed to kill multiples of each, but not dragons (seem to be very rare). However, for some reason I am getting no more bosses in my game world. It has now been over 10 dungeon runs (over 100 hours passed legit ingame), as well as over 10 × 12 hour rests, and nothing has popped up.

I don't think they should be limited, and am sure you intended for them not to be.

I have also tried drinking in taverns to see if they would spawn.

Side note: are dragons meant to be so rare?

I made the backup, but can't locate the ek.bak file. Do I need a rooted phone? If so, I am unable to continue.

No, you don't need a rooted device. It is at the "root" of your storage, i.e, outside all other folders. You should see folders named "Download", "DCIM", and others, at that location.

However some file explorers don't allow access to the root, only to folders. In that case, just install the free EZ file Explorer

Found it, thanks. Wonder why search failed to pick it up. I would suggest using a different lingo for the description "root of phone". Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I'm not very technical on these things and didn't find it all that obvious.

I am also finding these random bosses to be extremely rare - I have spent many hours visiting every inn over and over again and have only found 3. Also, are these bosses tied to the shards needed to complete the main quest yet?

Don't know how, but the issue seems to be fixed for me. Even dragons have now appeared, though rare. Might have been a very unlucky period of time. I'm getting an average of 1 boss every 2-3 dungeon runs and rests (crypt for exp), which for me is about 20-30 mins of gameplay time.

The period of time where I didn't get bosses was something like 20+ runs, over 5 hours gameplay time, could have been unlucky.

For others I would just suggest playing normally and it should eventually fix itself.

Side note: those drops are so awesome, many of which are the best of their kind endgame. Well worth hunting them. Bravo. Moreover the dragons and Liches have very small chances of dropping something invaluable... something you can't get enough of.

For me this has added something huge beyond just grinding crypt endgame for exp.

Yeah for awhile I would here gossip everytime I went the inn in Freetown and it would tell me about a manticore, a troll warlord or a dragon that needed to be eradicated. But now I am not getting anything. And I have yet to just randomly encounter a dragon anywhere that they weren't already before. I will just give it time though. There must be a rhythm to it. Just can't find the groove.
