New device full screen bug

I just got a Moto G and the screen size continuously seems to switch back and forth between full and window version fairly rapidly. Adjusting the settings doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

I have a moto G for testing and works fine here... Try to reboot your device. If it still fails, on what version are you on?

That seems to be a hardware issue. Switching between landscape and phone modus could be a problem with your gyroscope.

Just try to quit the screen orientation threw settings, that should help.

If you use LineageOS or root your device, you can force the landscape mode.
