I make this thread because in the beta release a new weapon was added called Thunder, which matches the exact name of an older weapon. Currently in the game there are several varients of things with the same name including: Bandit and Bandit (ranged), Outlaw and Outlaw (ranged), and Outlaw Chief and Outlaw Chief (ranged).
Now all the creature examples of duplicate names are fine, since it is just the same thing using different gear. But when weapons that are completely different are given the exact same name that is an issue for me. I get that naming things can be difficult, and that in this translation upheaval one name change is a lot of work, but it really bothers me when 2 things are named the same. Especially when one is "Maybe of Tolassian origins", while the other doesn't mention the group.
Other names I had for the Thunder (2h) include: Cataclysm, Whirlwind?, Electric~?
For the original Thunder (1h): Thunderbolt, Bolt?, Flash?, Zap?
Other ideas include just naming it after a lore figure or in a made up language like Rancor.
