Bug My game won't open

My configurations:

• RTX 2060
• RYZEN 5 5600X
• 16GB RAM
• WINDOWS 11

I've been playing the game but since I updated my windows to Windows 11 the game won't open anymore in steam.

I already try to:

• Reinstall the game
• Reboot my computer
• Change the resolution, and fullscreen mode in init . ini
• Creating a file wm . ek
• Initialize with compability mode
• Reinstall java

I don't know what to do to play the game .

I put a space in the file like init " " . " " ini, because the forum don't allow me to post the original name.

I think that developer @DavidBVal might know something about it. It looks like windows 11 incompatibility, or drivers problem, but I really don't know.

Sadly I also can't try to reproduce it, my i7 with 32gb can't run w11 (6th gen)

I'm using Windows 11 and did not have a problem with the switch over. However, it's clear by the number of trouble shooting places that there's been issues.

It will take someone true geekiness to sort it out if the above doesn't work?

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Steam?

In the past, that's helped with Windows-Steam compatibility issues. You shouldn't loose game progress since Steam saves everything, but just to be save, export a save back up in case you need to load from it later.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem related with the java virtual machine not properly starting, since the log doesn't go past that. This is very rare, and in those cases I was not able to find a solution. Maybe some strange incompatibility between the version of java used by the game and some systems, but I couldn't figure it out as I couldn't reproduce it. I suggest you request a Steam or GOG refund, my apologies.

That's sad
I can't refund because a I already played a few hours, the problem started after I installed this shit Windows version.
Can you share what's the java version used by the game?

Fixed the bug!! I just formatted my PC.
I found that this problem occurred in other games that use Java, like Slay The Spire, so I make a try to format and it Works!!!
